Vision can be affected during a woman’s pregnancy, usually in the first and third trimesters.  There is also bleeding in the retina that can occur from gestational diabetes during the pregnancy as well as from increased pressure during birth.  It is possible to be first diagnosed with gestational diabetes before your primary physician knows its present!  Monitoring your eye health and vision during pregnancy can ensure great quality of life through out the pregnancy.

We will give you a complimentary prescription check 3 months after the birth of your baby to make sure your last prescription did not change in that last trimester.  And bring the baby because we love babies.
